The NBA has unveiled the participants for the 2026 AT&T Slam Dunk Contest, set to take place on February 14th at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. This annual event, part of NBA All-Star Saturday, tips off at 5 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. The four competitors are: Carter Bryant of the San Antonio Spurs, Jaxson Hayes of the Los Angeles Lakers, Keshad Johnson of the Miami Heat, and Jase Richardson of the Orlando Magic. All four athletes are making their Slam Dunk debut, with two of them being rookies: Bryant and Richardson. Bryant, a 6-6 forward, was drafted 14th overall by the Spurs in 2025, while Richardson, a 6-1 guard, was selected 25th overall by the Magic. Richardson's father, Jason Richardson, is a two-time AT&T Slam Dunk champion (2002 and 2003). Hayes, a 7-foot center, is in his seventh NBA season with the Lakers, and Johnson, a 6-6 forward, is in his second season after splitting time between Miami and the Sioux Falls Skyforce. The competition will follow a two-round format, with judges scoring each dunk. In the first round, the four players will attempt two dunks each, and the combined score will determine the top two, who will advance to the final round.
